Adventures with chicken

Grilled a chicken today on an indoor grill.
Never done that before.
Was not familiar with the grill.
Was pretty sure at one point that I was going to burn the apartment building down, and worried because I don't know the word for fire in Arabic.
Was worried it would be undercooked and we would get sick from salmonella poisoning.

Chicken turned out fine and even tasted good.
Pictures to follow soon.

First of all, learn the Arabic word for "FIRE!" LOL Dad and I cracked up when we read this little missive (missile? LOL). I'm in the process of scanning pictures into the computer. I plan to then save certain pictures to discs - i.e. pictures of you and Steve when you were little - and give them to you. And here I thought you had made off with ALL of my pictures! Nope, I have a lot of you. You were such a little doll. Love, Mom

I don't think I took any of the pictures to tell you the truth.
You gave me an album full of them that you made me some years ago. It's in a box in storage at the moment. I'm guessing that's where the ones are that are "missing".
=)
I think you made Steve an album as well but I'm not positive about that.

Steve's album has been a work-in-progress since we moved up here. I haven't touched it in years as he doesn't appear to be interested. And speaking of pictures, I found ALL of your school pictures; I'd thought you'd taken them. They were in a box that I hadn't looked at in years. Scads of pictures from kindergarten on up - sure brought back memories to see that beautiful little face.

I'd love to see the old school pictures if you get a chance to scan them in.
I remember at least two years when I decided to take matters into my own hands and cut my hair before the pictures were taken.
quelle horreur!!
lol

Yes, there are pictures with that haircut. And do you remember coming back from Jamaica with corn rows?
