Not much to speak of the last two days.
Just been here with the in-laws.
Mom made my favorite chicken dish on Saturday for lunch (which is the main meal here).
Yesterday my brother in law had some nice pastries delivered because I had mentioned something about liking cinnamon.
Everyone is being very nice.
But I still miss Ahmed. He must be very busy as I've barely heard from him!!

Started reading The Hobbit on Sunday night and am on chapter 12 now. I originally read the book when I was a teenager. It's probably been about 25 years or so since I read it. After that I will delve into the LOTR books. Something to occupy my time at least.
I'll try to post some pictures tomorrow. Though I'm running low on any interesting pics to post, and won't be going outside to take any at least until Ahmed is back I suppose.
Though there is always mom's cooking, or things in the kitchen. Hmmm......

What's LOTR? I've wracked my brain and can't figure it out. LOL We arrived in Winnemucca, NV about 45 minutes ago - our last night out before returning home tomorrow. I know how you must miss Ahmed - just consider that no news is good news until you hear from him again. -- Love, Mom

Jennifer, I am more than happy to oblige. I just have to take care, as the lighting in this house isn't conducive to photos at all, so sometimes it's hard to get good shots of mom's food.
I managed a few today so we shall see!
Does your camera have a low light setting? If so, you might try that.
I doubt it but I'll check it out and see what I can see.
